Mom’s Midnight Mass Oyster Stew

Cynthia McConniel
1 can oysters, drain off half the liquid
2 to 3 c. milk
1 tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 tsp. pepper
Dash of salt
1/2 c. chopped celery
Minced onion for flavor
Mix all ingredients together in a sauce pan and heat until thickened.
